Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full set of accounts, including preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.

  • Perform consolidation of group accounts and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

  • Review subsidiaries’ management accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

  • Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit schedules.

  • Perform eliminations of intra-group transactions and provisions at the group level.

  • Conduct month-end reviews and ensure financial accuracy across the Group.

Tax & Compliance
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns and monthly WHT filings in a timely manner.

  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis to support strategic decisions and cost optimization.

  • Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and efficient working capital management.

  • Analyze key financial and operational metrics to support business insights and decision making.

  • Generate regular financial reports and dashboards with actionable recommendations for various departments.

  • Monitor departmental KPIs and highlight gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities.

Business Partnering & Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored financial insights.

  • Assist in developing standardized processes, analytical models, and automated reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and training to team members to support departmental capability building.

  • Undertake ad hoc projects and provide support to the Group Accounting team on finance related matters.

Qualifications
