A leading business in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will manage accounts, prepare GST returns, and collaborate with teams to provide financial insights. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accountancy, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success in this role, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Manage the full set of accounts, including preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
Perform consolidation of group accounts and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Review subsidiaries’ management accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
Perform eliminations of intra-group transactions and provisions at the group level.
Conduct month-end reviews and ensure financial accuracy across the Group.
Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns and monthly WHT filings in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, regulatory reporting, and internal controls.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis to support strategic decisions and cost optimization.
Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and efficient working capital management.
Analyze key financial and operational metrics to support business insights and decision making.
Generate regular financial reports and dashboards with actionable recommendations for various departments.
Monitor departmental KPIs and highlight gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored financial insights.
Assist in developing standardized processes, analytical models, and automated reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide supervision, guidance, and training to team members to support departmental capability building.
Undertake ad hoc projects and provide support to the Group Accounting team on finance related matters.
Degree in Accountancy or a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent professional certification.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; prior experience in the F&B industry is an added advantage.
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
