Job summary

A leading corporation in Singapore is seeking a Tax Compliance Manager to oversee group tax compliance matters including corporate income tax and GST/VAT. The successful candidate will provide tax advisory support for business transactions and ensure governance-related policies are aligned with regulatory requirements. Candidates should have a degree in accounting or relevant discipline, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and be bilingual in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

  • Experience in drafting or reviewing finance policies and procedures.
  • Good understanding of governance and internal controls.

Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage Group tax compliance matters, including corporate income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Liaise with external tax agent on tax computation, filing, audit and other tax related matters for the Gorup of companies.
  • Provide tax advisory support on business transactions, restructuring, contracts, and new initiatives.
  • Assist in tax planning initiatives to optimise the Group’s tax position within regulatory frameworks.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and related compliance, where applicable.
  • Draft, review, and update Group finance, tax, and governance-related policies and procedures (e.g. tax policy, delegation of authority, financial controls, accounting policies).
  • Ensure policies are aligned with regulatory requirements, Group standards, and best practices.
  • Coordinate policy roll-out across subsidiaries, including communication, training, and implementation support.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Group Finance and Management
Requirements:
  • Degree in accounting or relevant discipline or ACCA
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience or in a similar accounting role. Experience with construction consultancy and facilities management industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in drafting, implementing, or reviewing finance policies and procedures is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exposure to group structures and multi-entity environments is an advantage.
  • A team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (both spoken and written) to liaise with the English & Chinese speaking associates.
