Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage the full set of company accounts in compliance with financial reporting standards. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining balance sheet schedules, supporting budgeting exercises, and coordinating with auditors. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, have at least 5 years of relevant experience, and possess strong attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Prepare full set of company accounts according to Singapore Financial Reporting Standard.
  • Review company accounts in accordance with Indonesian Financial Reporting Standard.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and income statement schedules.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercises as per corporate guidelines.
  • Prepare quarterly/monthly GST/VAT calculations and submissions.

Job description
  • Responsible for preparation the full set of company accounts in accordance withSingapore Financial Reporting Standard ("SFRS") including general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statement and journal listing on monthly basis.
  • Review the company accounts in accordance with Indonesian Financial Reporting Standard ("PSAK") including general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statement and journal listing on monthly basis, to ensure that our bookkeeping is up-to-date.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules (fixed assets, right-of-use assets, expected credit loss, bank reconciliation, provision, prepayments, accruals, lease liabilities, advances, etc), income statement schedules and trading profit schedules for monthly review, statutory auditing and/or tax purposes.
  • Prepare the company year-end statutory audit and group audit reporting of holding company.
  • Prepare monthly inter-company transactions listing (related party transactions) and monthly reconciliation statements for consolidation purpose
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.
  • Prepare quarterly / monthly GST/VAT calculations and submissions, as well as annual ECI and Corporate Income Tax filings. Ensure timely reporting and payments, or apply for a tax payment plan if necessary.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual consolidated financial reports in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard.
  • Review consolidated financial reports in accordance with Indonesian Financial Reporting Standard ("PSAK")
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties, such as external auditor, tax agents, tax, corporate secretarial and government authorities of Singapore and Indonesia where required.
  • Communicate with manager and/or director on work status, any other such duties as maybe communicated from time to time in line with business/operation needs.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal parties/subsidiaries to support intercompany activities.
  • Prepare monthly payroll if required.
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
  • Assist in ad-hoc admin and operation assignment when required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor'sdegree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (Xero, Quickbook, SAP,etc).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
