Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an account cum admin assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for basic accounting support, including daily booking tasks, processing invoices, and financial record handling. You will also assist in general office administration, ensuring accurate document management and coordination. Ideal candidates should possess basic knowledge of Excel and have a detail-oriented mindset. This role offers a standard 0800 to 1800 office schedule, with some overtime expected during quarter-end close or audit periods.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Excel and Word is necessary.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Prior experience in accounting and admin support is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily booking tasks including data entry.
  • Process and track invoices and payments.
  • Prepare, process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure accurate posting of transactions into accounting software.
  • Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliation.
  • Support GST filing, CPF submission, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to accountants.
  • Assist with year-end closing and audits.

We are looking for an account cum admin assistant to support basic accounting and office tasks. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable handling financial records and general admin duties

Basic Accounting Support
  • Assist with daily booking tasks including data entry
  • Process and track invoices and payments
  • Prepare, process and reconcile AP/AR
  • Ensure accurate posting of transaction into accounting software (OCI Accounting Software)
  • Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliation
  • Support GST Filling, CPF submission and compliance requirements
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support to accountants as needed
  • Assist with year-end closing and audits as required
Office Administration
  • Handle administrative duties, such as filing and document management
  • Assist with office coordination and records keeping
  • Assist in stock reconciliation
Requirements
  • On-site presence is requirement
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Words and booking
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Prior experience in accounting and admin support is a plus
Working Conditions
  • Standard office hours Monday to Friday - 0800 to 1800
  • Occasional overtime required during quarterly closing or audit period
