Qualifications

  • Prepare and support GST filing, including reconciliation.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve variances.

Account Assistant (Work From Home)

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Reporting To: Head of Department (Finance)

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

Job Description

Provide support for day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks, with focus on Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and GST filing support. Ensure accurate transaction processing, timely reconciliation, and proper documentation in compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Perform accounting data entry and bookkeeping in QuickBooks
  • Process Accounts Payable (AP) including vendor invoices and payment tracking
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing, receipts, and follow-ups
  • Prepare and support GST filing, including data extraction and reconciliation
  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve variances
  • Assist in preparation of basic financial reports and schedules
  • Verify and process employee expense claims
  • Maintain organised accounting records and support audits
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
