Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm is seeking a Sales Promoter for a 1-year contract in Singapore. The role involves understanding customer needs and assisting them with product selection, building product knowledge, and delivering engaging presentations. Experience in promoting FMCG/OTC products and retailer experience is preferred. Responsibilities

• Listen and understand customers’ needs, assisting them to find the perfect product.
• Build product knowledge and deliver this knowledge engagingly.
• Set up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers and stakeholders.
• Distribute samples and provide feedback for improvement.
• Follow up with customers and provide guidance on product selection.
• Meet daily targets and submit sales reports.
• Network with relevant stakeholders.
• Search for new business opportunities.

Job description

Position title: Sales Promoter (1 yr contract)

Location: Mustafa & Haniffa

Working days: 6 days per week, 1 weekday off

Working hours: 1pm – 10pm (1 hr meal break)

Salary :

$1,500 basic + Incentive $400 + Commission (0.5 to 5%) = Gross possible up to$2400-2500

Job Responsibilities

• Listening and understanding customers’ needs, assist them to find the perfect product for their needs.
• Constantly building product knowledge and delivering this knowledge in engaging ways.
• Setting up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
• Delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers and other stakeholders.
• Distributing samples and providing feedback for improvement to the management team.
• Following up with customers and providing guidance on product selection.
• Meeting daily targets and submitting sales reports.
• Networking with relevant stakeholders.
• Searching for new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in promoting FMCG/OTC products in chain pharmacies and departmental stores
• Retailer experience, will be a plus as well – this is for our merchandising and inventory management requirement, which is part and parcel of a promoter role as well
• Preferable with experience in retail
