Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a First Article Inspector for a 3-month contract. Responsibilities include performing inspections and preparing reports, reviewing inspection reports, and submitting for customer approval. First Article Inspector

Contract: 3-Months
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5pm
Working Days: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
  • Perform First Article Inspection and prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
  • Submit FAIR at customer portal for approval.
  • Review internal inspection reports.
  • Review supplier FAIR and communicate with supplier for first article issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as document preparation and collection.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Training provided.
  • Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, technical specifications and product certifications.
  • Good working knowledge of inspection technique.
  • Hands-on knowledge on basic measuring tools such as caliper.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Previous experience in FAIR preparation is preferred.
