Job summary

Location: Jurong West
Working Days: 5 days Mon - Fri
Working hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: $3000 - $4000

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
  • At least 5 years working experience in a related field
  • Experience in valves, pipe & fittings
  • Proficient in Ms Words / Excel / Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system is a Plus
Job Description
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Maintain and monitor closely on monthly safety stock level to cater to order requests
  • Lead yearly inventory stock take
  • Ensure sales team are using the correct item codes
  • Review and monitor products for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Analyze product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level
  • Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and reduce operations costs
  • Administer purchase orders and payment process while working together with finance team on payment issues
  • Liaise with forwarder or courier service to plan shipping schedules accordingly to fulfil orders
  • Perform other and ad-hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned by the Superiors
