Job summary

A primary educational institution in Singapore is looking for an Office Assistant to support the administration. Duties include answering calls, assisting students with minor injuries, and redirecting parents and contractors. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a primary school and must possess 3 GCE 'O' Level Passes. Basic skills in MS Word and MS Excel are also required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Name of Authority: Concord Primary School

Contract Period: From 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027 (Service not required for the months of June and December)

Option to Extend: 1 year (Service not required for the months of June and December)

Working Hour: Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break

Service not required for the months of June and December

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, June and December.

Job Scopes
  • Assist to answer phone calls when all other lines are busy
  • Attend to students’ minor injuries (e.g. apply cold pack or plasters)
  • Assist to attend to walk-in parents / contractors and re‑direct them to relevant staff for assistance
  • Adhoc duties assigned by the Administration Manager and School Leaders
Requirements
  • 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes or its equivalent
  • Positive attitude, pleasant disposition with good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Basic skills in MS Word and MS Excel
  • At least 2 years experience as a Office Assistant / Receptionist at the General Office front counter in a primary school in the past 5 years (i.e. between 2021 to 2025)
