The Balance Sheet Management Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in‑depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • The position will be part of Singapore Country Corporate Treasury team supporting liquidity‑related reporting activities covering both local regulatory and internal liquidity requirements. The successful candidate should possess fundamental understanding of local regulations, encompassing their interpretation and assessment.
  • The role encompasses the daily, monthly, and quarterly production of liquidity reports, alongside supporting their pre‑ and post‑production analysis, including trend and variance analysis. Additionally, responsibilities include assisting periodic gap assessments and annual methodology reviews to ensure reporting is in compliance with Citi policy requirements.
  • The role also encompasses several key responsibilities, such as but not limited to: support Funding and Liquidity Plans and/or the Horizontal Liquidity reviewing process; participate in Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) and ICAAP; involve in U.S. and Local (MAS) liquidity‑related reporting; monitor key metrics to identify and address limit breaches.
  • The role will also be responsible for assisting with the analysis and thematic reviews of the Bank's Liquidity metrics, Contingency Funding Plans, Liquidity Fire‑Drills, and Internal Stress Testing Reports.
  • Beyond these responsibilities, the incumbent will also support system development and enhancements. This includes developing basic User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, actively collaborating with various stakeholders on system and report development/enhancement projects, and performing tasks such as data analysis, solution design, and testing.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience – knowledge of MAS reporting (financial, liquidity or risk) is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitasks and adapt to change.
  • Experience with performing data reconciliations, gap analysis, etc. including with large datasets.
  • Strong controls mindset, identifying and mitigating risks, communicating and escalating concerns.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
