What you will do
  • Work as a member of the technical team to provide process engineering support for operations.
  • Provide technical advice and support to daily operational issues.
  • Perform unit optimization, troubleshooting and de‑bottlenecking studies.
  • Lead/participate in safety initiatives including risk assessments and HAZOP reviews.
  • Support ongoing reliability improvements and equipment strategy development.
  • Analyze complex technical issues, identify key drivers and propose strategies/recommendations to support decision‑making and resolution of technical issues.
  • Be responsible for the development and execution of margin improvement ideas and projects.
  • The job role can be assigned to start at either the Chemical Plant or Refinery.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. Candidates with no experience are welcome.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of multitasking, managing multiple interfaces and prioritizing work effectively.
  • Knowledge of process modeling software and experience using relevant technical computing tools and design software for hydraulic calculations, TRV relief, and other evaluations.
  • Familiarity with the development of H&MB, PFD / P&IDs and design specification of process equipment.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety.
