Job summary

A primary education institution in Singapore seeks an IT Trainer to conduct ICT and Multimedia training for students and staff. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Multimedia/ICT and have 12 months of relevant experience in a Ministry of Education Primary School. Responsibilities include course facilitation, technical support for teachers, and management of school ICT resources.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of experience as ICT Executive/Trainer in MOE Primary School.
  • Must be familiar with MOE Student Learning Spaces (SLS).
  • Familiarity with IDEs for Arduino and web applications required.

Contract Period

From 01 January 2026 to 30 November 2026

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
  • Mon‑Fri: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, inclusive of ½ hr lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Job Scopes
a) Information Technology Training Support
  1. Conduct computer courses. E.g. MS Office, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, video training, Internet security, computer architecture basics, basic programming skills using Scratch, Arduino Robot Kits, Micro:bits, Sphero BOLT, Drone Education, ICT Baseline Skills and others for pupils and staff.
  2. Assist teachers in deploying ICT‑infused lessons and assessment to students.
  3. Digitise past years' exam papers to auto‑mark online assessment in SLS.
  4. Identify and train students for national/regional competitions.
  5. Assist teachers in content management and development.
  6. Assist in monitoring and evaluating the progress of the projects/assignments.
  7. Collate and document feedback from the students regarding the computer course at the end of each course.
  8. Assist in taking photographs at school events and managing Digital Archive in the school network.
  9. Assist in Inventory Audit and movement of ICT and AVA equipment.
  10. Assist the school in producing and printing posters for school events.
  11. Assist in guiding students and staff in handling MOE Student Learning Spaces (SLS) platform.
b) Teachers and School Programme Support
  1. Ensure that all ICT facilities are operational during lessons.
  2. Assist subject departments and teachers with ICT‑related content development.
  3. Provide technical consultancy for the development of innovative ideas.
  4. Assist teachers in preparing students for ICT competitions.
  5. Assist in organising inter‑class/school ICT‑related competitions.
  6. Assist school website development, updates and maintenance.
  7. Assist in updating school social media account – Facebook and Instagram.
c) Administrative
  1. Assist staff and pupils in matters relating to Student Learning Spaces (SLS).
  2. Monthly meeting with school ICT committee.
  3. Any ICT‑related projects assigned by Principal/Vice Principal/HOD ICT/AVA/MRL.
Requirements

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • At least a Diploma or above with good skill set in Multimedia and ICT.
  • Must be familiar in using large‑format printer for poster creation.
  • Must have at least 12 months of experience working in Ministry of Education (MOE) Primary School in Singapore as an ICT Executive/Trainer and competent to handle the tasks and responsibilities assigned.
  • Must be familiar in using MOE Student Learning Spaces (SLS).

The Personnel should also possess the following knowledge and personal qualities:

  • Preferably familiar with HTML, Mac OS platform and Apple Apps, Web Application for Teaching and Learning, MS Office 365 and Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, Digital Video production, Arduino Robotics, SWIVL and Programming Skills using Scratch, Bitbloq for 3D‑tronics Robotics, Micro:bits, Sphero BOLT and any other software as specified by the school.
  • Preferably familiar in the use of Isomer CMS for school website and able to assist in managing school website.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Mature individual with integrity, courtesy, patience and positive attitude.

Candidate may be required to attend an interview and to give a lesson to demonstrate competency in facilitating training for students before the awarding of the contract.
