Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S seeks a Trade Channel Executive to build the weight-management category presence across pharmacy chains in Saudi Arabia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine (required).
• Minimum 2 years of trade channel or consumer health channel management experience – ideally pharma with Consumer Health/OTC/FMCG exposure.
• Trade or consumer health experience is essential.
• Proven ownership of pharmacy chain or major retail accounts with demonstrable category and shopper thinking.
• Strong commercial planning, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver clinical conversations anchored in obesity pharmacy experiences.
• Data literacy and ability to turn performance analytics into action plans.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Full understanding of SFDA regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted store visits across territory, building quarterly account plans grounded in each chain's category and shopper strategy.
• Deliver a clear pharmacy value proposition and coach pharmacists on weight-management shopper conversations.
• Execute Joint Business Plans and chain HQ programmes in-store – visibility, planogram, category signage and shopper support materials.
• Handle key drop-off moments such as side effects, adherence and plateau conversations to sustain pharmacist-consumer relationships.
• Deliver face-to-face education sessions and support digital learning, embedding consumer-conversation frameworks alongside product knowledge.
• Plan territory using store tiering based on shopper footfall and category potential, maintain CRM reporting and clean data.
• Feed shopper insights and pharmacist feedback back into the team to improve engagement and execution.
