Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation seeks a Transportation Assistant to arrange material movement for domestic shipments, coordinate scheduling, and monitor logistics operations. The role requires English proficiency and knowledge of transportation regulations within Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities include labeling cargo, assigning seal numbers, tracking shipments from pickup to delivery, and maintaining reports. A valid driver’s license and safety certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) experience preferred.
• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or administrative support
• Knowledge of local routes and transportation regulations.
• High School diploma/ bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares staging labels to be placed on cargo, ensuring it is loaded in the proper equipment.
• Assigns seal numbers to each domestic shipment to ensure the cargo is secure and not tampered with while in transit.
• Monitors shipment from time the driver leaves the warehouse until receipt of shipment at destination.
• Processed Bill of landing is signed once the bolted seal is placed in the door of the equipment.
• Ensures that all domestic shipments are noted in the weekly, monthly, and yearly reports.
• Maintains spreadsheet on domestic shipment reports for accountability.
• Signs proof of delivery from the receiver on the delivery date.

Overview

The Transportation Assistant shall provide for the arrangement of material movement of commercial carrier pick-up and delivery. The successful candidate will assist with scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of transportation activities to ensure safe, timely, and efficient movement of staff, materials, or passengers. A high level of English proficiency is essential for this role.

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Education And/or Experience

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Experience in safety management within the manufacturing industry, with knowledge of factory safety standards and operational processes.
• Possess a valid HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) certificate and relevant professional certifications.
• Saudi national, familiar with local safety regulations and government procedures in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• Responsible for safety liaison between the factory and government departments to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, as well as emergency response capabilities.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and the team.
• Ability to operate skid steer, backhoe, mini-excavator, loader, trencher, etc.
