Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to supervise construction activities for large-scale building developments in the Saudi Arabia region. You will ensure structural integrity, safety, and adherence to project schedules while coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams.

The role requires extensive on-site supervision, review of shop drawings and materials, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent accreditation desirable.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.
• Additional certifications related to structural design, construction supervision, or project management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations, retaining structures, concrete works, steel structures, and building frameworks.
• Verify construction aligns with approved methodologies and quality requirements.
• Monitor site activities to meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Witness inspections and testing of structural materials and works.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, QS, and construction teams on interfaces.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals for design intent.
