Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company is seeking a Key Account Manager to maintain excellent relationships with customers and secure orders for the MDS portfolio in the Eastern region.

You will identify key accounts, set appointments, deliver compelling presentations, coordinate promotions and clinical activities, and travel actively to cover the territory. This role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years in medical device sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or a healthcare related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in medical device sales/medical consumables.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and meeting financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• To achieve sales target for assigned accounts through regular customer visits.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with corporate strategies to achieve profitability and growth targets for each account under their control.
• Ensure achievement of sales budgets and other financial targets set for each account.
• Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all customers and decision makers to ensure their continued use of the Company’s products and services.
• Maintain detailed records on all accounts including customer information, purchasing protocols, selling techniques, and market trends.
• Provide feedback to the Marketing Department on customer needs, preferences, and competitor activity.
• Attend conferences and seminars to stay current on industry trends and changes.
