Job summary

KAFAAT Recruitment is seeking a motivated Business Development Engineer to identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and support the company’s sales growth. The role involves working with factories, contractors, and clients to understand technical requirements, preparing commercial proposals, and convert opportunities into partnerships.

You will handle RFQs, quotations, and presentations, coordinate with engineering, production, and operations teams, and represent KAFAAT

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in business development, sales engineering, or related field.
• Experience dealing with factories, companies, contractors and end clients.
• Experience handling RFQs, quotations, client meetings and proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industries and markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with companies, factories, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Conduct client visits and meetings to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Receive, review, and respond to RFQs.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, commercial offers, and presentations.
• Follow up on proposals and negotiate pricing, terms and delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and operations teams.
• Generate new leads through market research, networking, referrals, and direct engagement.
• Maintain a database of prospects, clients, projects, and opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Manage the business development pipeline and provide progress reports.
• Support contract negotiations and handover of projects.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
• Follow up with existing clients for repeat business and cross-selling.
