Job summary

Al Qaryan Group is seeking a Projects, Fleet & Operator Controller to optimize end-to-end scheduling and safe management of heavy machinery and field personnel in Saudi Arabia. You will bridge project demands with assets, synchronize human capital and equipment to deliver projects on time, maximize fuel efficiency, and ensure full compliance with transport and safety laws.

You will lead fleet maintenance planning, driver/operator scheduling, performance monitoring, and incident investigations,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Administration.
• Minimum 8 years in fleet operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi MOT regulations, TGA laws, and Saudi Labor law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet asset lifecycle from registration to decommissioning.
• Monitor telematics data to track locations, idle times, and hours.
• Design and enforce preventive maintenance schedules.
• Create shift rosters and project assignments for drivers and operators.
• Review telematics for driver behavior; implement corrections.
• Verify driver licenses and operator permits; manage medical checks.
• Handle HR matters: attendance, leaves, disciplinary actions.
• Conduct tool-box talks and defensive driving training.
• Coordinate asset allocation with project managers to meet schedules.
• Track fuel, repair, toll costs and overtime for budgeting.
• Lead investigations after incidents and draft risk/insurance reports.
