Job summary

Saudi Aramco seeks a seasoned Business Development Specialist to drive origination and deal execution in its Downstream Growth and Development division. You will screen opportunities, model economics, and coordinate due diligence, MOUs, and LOIs with internal experts to advance profitable investments across refining, petrochemicals, trading, and lubricants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management or Bachelor of Science in Engineering; MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, transaction execution, and project financing.
• Experience in downstream industry (refining, petrochemicals, retail, lubricants) preferred.
• Project financing experience preferred.
• Professional certifications like PMP, CMA or CFA are preferred.
• Knowledge of venturing activities such as commercialization or joint ventures and valuation modeling.

Responsibilities

• Manage business development process from screening through deal closure.
• Prepare for and conduct negotiations to secure a deal.
• Assemble initial offerings and coordinate with SMEs on MOUs and LOIs.
• Ensure compliance with stage gates and approvals, and manage payments/variations.
• Lead resource and funding plans to transform proposals into closed deals.
• Lead business planning, economic modeling, and deal structuring.
• Participate in creating commercial, financial, and technical framework; evaluate opportunities and coordinate due diligence.
• Provide direction in drafting legal documents and manage the business portfolio.
