Job summary

Aramco is seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist for the Downstream Origination Department. The role focuses on screening and originating profitable investment opportunities across refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, and lubricants, including due diligence, valuation and negotiations to close deals.

You will lead deal execution, model financials, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive strategic partnerships aligned with the downstream growth plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degrees in Business, Management or Engineering as required.
• MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in M&A, business development, deal execution and project financing.
• Experience in downstream industry (refining, petrochemicals, retail, lubricants) preferred.
• Experience in transaction execution and leading negotiations of definitive documents preferred.
• Certified PM/ CMA/ CFA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and originate investment opportunities across refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, logistics and lubricants.
• Manage deal process from screening to closure, including due diligence and negotiations.
• Prepare offerings, coordinate with subject matter experts, and draft MoU/LOI.
• Ensure compliance with stage gates and contract approvals within limits.
• Lead business planning, economic modeling and deal structuring.
• Develop commercial and financial frameworks and coordinate due diligence activities.
