Salla is seeking a senior Shipping and Fulfillment Product Owner to own the end-to-end shipping stack and its unit economics across a large merchant base in Saudi Arabia.

You will lead an engineering squad, shape routing, courier integrations, and cash-on-delivery reconciliation, while expanding beyond last-mile into warehousing, pick and pack, and returns. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, with 7+ years in product management and willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Proven ownership of a shipping, fulfillment, or order-management product at scale.
• Commercial fluency in shipment economics: rate cards, zone/weight/service level impact on cost per parcel.
• Experience in two or more areas beyond last mile: inventory, warehousing, or 3PL orchestration.
• Technical grounding in integrations: interfaces, webhooks, status mapping, retries, reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Own the strategy and roadmap for shipping and fulfillment, prioritized on merchant retention and contribution per shipment.
• Decide how each order is routed and priced: provider, service level, cost, and what the merchant pays.
• Improve delivery reliability with measurable metrics like first-attempt success and reconciliation accuracy.
• Build the integration layer to onboard providers quickly and keep live integrations stable.
• Extend the product beyond last-mile delivery, focusing on merchant retention impact.
• Determine which shipping capabilities are free vs paid and defend the line.
• Own the metrics with the data team and optimize provider mix based on data.
