Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Chef de Partie – Specialty / Roof Café for Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard to lead a kitchen section and maintain IHG standards. The role involves preparing high-quality dishes, supervising junior staff, and ensuring HACCP compliance in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of culinary experience, including 1–2 years in a similar role, and a diploma in culinary arts. English communication and flexibility with shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational certificate in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years culinary experience, including 1–2 years as Demi Chef de Partie in a 4- or 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and international cuisine.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience supervising junior kitchen colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section within the Specialty / Roof Café.
• Prepare, cook and present food according to approved recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure mise en place is complete and the section is prepared before service.
• Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation throughout service.
• Train and coach junior kitchen staff to improve skills and performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
• Comply with IHG brand standards, policies and all health and safety regulations.
