Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts' Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Housekeeping Manager in delivering high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.

This role leads a housekeeping team, assists in scheduling, training, inventory control, cost management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies while maintaining guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years housekeeping experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations.
• Supervise room attendants, public areas attendants, laundry, and supervisors.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and standards compliance.
• Coordinate with Front Office for timely room availability.
• Plan daily work assignments and staffing based on occupancy.
• Train and develop housekeeping staff to improve productivity and service quality.
• Monitor supplies, linens, uniforms, and guest amenities; control costs.
• Coordinate with Engineering to report maintenance issues.
• Handle Lost & Found in line with hotel policy and documentation.
• Monitor departmental expenses and support cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene, and fire-safety compliance.
• Assist in investigations of guest complaints and service recovery actions.
• Prepare operational and productivity reports as required.
• Act on behalf of the Housekeeping Manager during their absence.
