Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Specialist to oversee and manage all cleaning operations for a prestigious facility in Saudi Arabia. You will drive quality standards, ensure health, safety and environmental compliance, and coordinate with clients and service providers to maintain pristine environments.

The role requires leadership of service providers, regular inspections, and adherence to FMMA requirements, with focus on sustainability and cost control across large-scale facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cleaning operations management.
• Experience managing large-scale/high-profile facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Hospitality, or related discipline.
• BICSc certification is essential.
• FM certifications strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning operations, grooming standards, BICSc methodologies.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cleaning services to ensure contractual standards, frequencies and KPIs are met.
• Conduct audits and prepare reports highlighting quality, non-compliance, and corrective actions.
• Review cleaning schedules to ensure coverage aligned with FMMA requirements.
• Supervise housekeeping staff performance via service providers and suggest improvements.
• Ensure cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Oversee specialized cleaning (facade cleaning, floor polishing, carpet shampooing, deep cleaning).
• Verify consumables and chemical usage reports for cost-effective usage.
• Review method statements, risk assessments, and training records from service providers.
• Coordinate with clients, FMMA teams, and service providers for issue resolution.
• Participate in meetings with FMMA teams and client reps to report on performance and plans.
• Support sustainability initiatives including waste segregation and recycling.

About the Role:

This role requires a quality-focused professional who can ensure service providers deliver exceptional cleaning standards while maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement to maintain pristine facility environments.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect all cleaning services to ensure service providers meet contractual standards, service frequencies, and agreed KPIs

• Conduct regular audits and prepare inspection reports highlighting service quality, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions

• Review and verify daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage aligned with FMMA requirements

• Supervise housekeeping staff performance through service provider channels and recommend improvements when necessary

• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards with correct materials and equipment usage

• Oversee specialized cleaning works including façade cleaning, floor polishing, carpet shampooing, and deep cleaning activities

• Verify consumables and chemical usage reports to ensure cost-effective consumption without compromising quality

• Review method statements, risk assessments, and training records submitted by service providers

• Coordinate with clients, FMMA operations teams, and service providers for issue resolution and service enhancements

• Participate in meetings with FMMA teams and client representatives to report on cleaning performance, challenges, and improvement plans

• Support sustainability initiatives including waste segregation and recycling programs while ensuring compliance with all FMMA operational and safety policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cleaning operations management
• Experience managing large-scale or high-profile facilities such as government buildings, corporate headquarters, or premium commercial properties
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Hospitality, or related discipline required
• BICSc certification (essential)
• Additional FM certifications strongly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning operations, grooming standards, and BICSc methodologies
• Familiarity with professional cleaning equipment, materials, and chemical applications
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety compliance, and environmental regulations
• Excellent inspection, reporting, and communication skills
