Job summary

MBRF in Jeddah is seeking a Chemist for our quality-focused laboratory. You will prepare samples, perform finished-product and raw-material analyses, enter results in the LIMS, and maintain traceability records to ISO 17025 standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Chemistry with at least two years of lab experience, is fluent in English (Arabic a plus), and familiar with AOAC and APHA methods. SAP and MS Office skills are preferred, and relocation to Jeddah is considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Business proficiency in English (Arabic an advantage).
• Knowledge of AOAC and APHA methods; Good Laboratory Practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples as per test methods and register in laboratory management system.
• Perform chemical laboratory analyses for finished products, raw materials, ingredients, water, and cleaning chemicals.
• Enter results in sample record sheets and LIMS; maintain traceability records and control records.
• Prepare reagents and record details with labels.
• Calibrate equipment prior to daily activities and as needed.
• Maintain equipment and preventive maintenance records; ensure instrument readiness.
• Encode results and elaborate lab reports; support production, QA, and R&D with analysis results.
