Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Stakeholder Manager in Riyadh to lead engagement across major transport and infrastructure design projects. You will coordinate with project teams, government authorities, utilities, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

The role emphasizes proactive stakeholder management, relationship building, and ensuring regulatory and governance obligations are met throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in stakeholder management or external affairs.
• Experience on large-scale transport and infrastructure design projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
• Experience with engineering consultancies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement stakeholder management and communication strategies for major transport and infrastructure projects.
• Identify, map, analyze, and maintain stakeholder registers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with government entities, municipalities, authorities, utilities, clients and communities.
• Act as the primary liaison between project teams and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops, presentations, and consultations.
• Manage stakeholder risks, issues, and concerns, with timely resolution and escalation.
• Facilitate approvals, permits, and coordination with authorities and utilities.
• Support project teams in obtaining stakeholder buy-in for design solutions and initiatives.
• Prepare stakeholder engagement reports, meeting minutes, and executive updates.
• Monitor commitments and ensure actions are tracked and closed.
• Collaborate with project managers, design managers, discipline leads, and clients to support delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, governance frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
