Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Scheduling Engineer to join the Project Control Division of the Producing Project Management Department. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to enable timely execution and accurate reporting.

The candidate should have a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, 15+ years in scheduling and project management in oil and gas, proficiency with Primavera, and PMP or Scheduling Professional certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized program.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience with advanced knowledge in scheduling engineering and project management, preferably in oil and gas facilities.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera; PMP or Scheduling Professional (SP) certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, including baseline schedules, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule constraints and bottlenecks.
• Communicate schedule risks, issues, and interventions promptly.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of scheduling data and reporting.
• Collaborate with construction teams to review and approve schedules and ensure on-track progress.
• Develop and maintain standardized planning and control procedures and reporting requirements.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, look-ahead plans, progress curves, and manpower histograms.
