Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Road Engineer for our Riyadh team. You will lead planning, design, and supervision of road infrastructure projects, ensuring high safety, quality, and innovation across all stages.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in road engineering, strong project management, and proficiency in CAD tools. English is essential; Arabic is advantageous. The role involves coordinating with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex road projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in road engineering and site supervision in construction consultancy.
Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
Extensive knowledge of road design, construction, and maintenance standards and regulations.
Proficiency in CAD and road engineering analysis tools.
Strong leadership to manage multidisciplinary teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and development of road infrastructure projects per client requirements and standards.
Conduct feasibility studies, traffic impact analyses, and risk assessments.
Provide technical oversight during construction; perform site inspections for quality and safety.
Develop and implement traffic management plans and safety measures.
Engage with clients, regulators, and communities; provide progress reports and presentations.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources; coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
