Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior QS Engineer to oversee cost control, budgeting, and tender preparation on large construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes financial discipline and strategic cost management across the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors, evaluate claims and variations, conduct feasibility and risk assessments, and ensure strict contract administration and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant quantity surveying or cost engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, FIDIC preferred.
• Proven cost planning, contract administration, and claims management experience.
• Proficiency with CostX, Primavera, and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• MRICS certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Monitor project costs, expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-related risk assessments.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors on financial matters.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.
