Job summary

Confidential Government seeks a skilled Contracts Controller to manage commercial and financial aspects of contracts in Saudi Arabia. You will verify payments, monitor costs, assess variations, and support accurate forecasting and close-out.

The role requires strong cost control, contractual compliance, and sound commercial decision-making across the contract lifecycle. Bachelor's in related field and at least 4 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify contractor, supplier, and service provider payment applications against completed works and contractual requirements.
• Monitor contract expenditure, approved budgets, financial commitments, retention, and forecast final costs.
• Assess and value variations, change orders, additional works, scope changes, and price adjustments using contractual rates and market benchmarks.
• Quantify and assess contractual claims, delay penalties, SLA deductions, and other financial adjustments.
• Maintain contract financial registers, reconcile values against purchase orders and payments, and prepare cost reports and dashboards.
• Prepare and reconcile final accounts, verify payments and deductions, and support close-out negotiations.
• Support procurement during pre-award by reviewing BoQs, pricing schedules, and payment mechanisms.
