Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of quantity surveying experience in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of contract management and cost control methods.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• MRICS or similar professional QS certification desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quantity surveying team with mentorship.
• Prepare and manage the project budget including estimates and forecasts.
• Conduct value engineering and cost-benefit analysis to optimize expenditure.
• Review and negotiate contracts and variations per policy.
• Monitor project progress and report on financial performance.
