Job summary

The QC Inspector role at Abis Co focuses on inspecting piping, civil, and mechanical construction to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
QC/inspection certification such as CSWIP or CWI preferred.
5+ years of experience as a QC Inspector on piping, civil and mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections on piping, civil, and mechanical works.
Witness hydrotests, NDE activities and other tests per ITP.
Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
Maintain inspection records, checklists and daily QC reports.
Verify calibration status of measuring and testing equipment.
Support punch-list generation and closure verification.
Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements.
Report quality issues and trends to the QC Manager.
