Job Summary: The QC Inspector performs inspection and testing of piping, civil, and mechanical construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
Perform in-process and final inspections on piping, civil, and mechanical works. Witness hydrotests, NDE activities, and other required tests per the ITP. Verify materials, welding, and installation against approved drawings and specifications. Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required. Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors. Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports. Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site. Support punch-list generation and verification of closure. Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements. Report quality issues and trends to the QC Manager. Support preparation of quality documentation for handover dossiers.
5+ years of experience as a QC Inspector on piping/civil/mechanical construction projects.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering. QC/inspection certification (e.g., CSWIP, CWI) preferred.
