Job summary

ABIS is seeking a QC Inspector to perform inspection and testing of piping, civil, and mechanical construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, and QC/inspection certification such as CSWIP or CWI. You will witness hydrotests, maintain records, and support handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with QC/inspection certification preferred.
• 5+ years as QC Inspector on piping, civil, and mechanical construction projects.
• Knowledge of ITPs, calibration, and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on piping, civil, and mechanical works.
• Witness hydrotests, NDE activities, and other required tests per the ITP.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements.
• Report quality issues and trends to the QC Manager.
• Support preparation of quality documentation for handover dossiers.

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a QC Inspector on piping/civil/mechanical construction projects.

Education:
