Job summary

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. seeks an experienced QC Inspector - Piping to perform in-process and final inspections on piping fabrication and installation works at active project sites in Saudi Arabia.

You will witness hydrotests, NDE activities, and verify isometrics against WPS, ensuring compliance with ASME B31.3 and project specs. The role requires 5–8 years of piping QC experience, a Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree, and QC/inspection certification (CSWIP/CWI) preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on piping fabrication and installation works.
• Witness hydrotests, NDE activities (RT/UT/PT/MT), and other required tests per the ITP.
• Verify pipe fit-up, alignment, and welding against approved isometrics and WPS.
• Verify materials, spools, and fittings against material certificates and specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports
• Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for piping works
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and piping codes (ASME B31.3)
• Support preparation of quality documentation for piping handover dossiers
