Abis is seeking a QC Inspector – Piping to perform inspection and testing of piping fabrication and installation activities to verify compliance with isometrics, welding procedures, and applicable codes and standards.

The role requires 5–8 years of piping inspection experience, field presence on active piping fronts, and the ability to witness hydrotests, NDE, and other tests per the ITP. CSWIP/CWI certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years of piping QC inspection experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• CSWIP or CWI certification preferred.
• Field-based role requiring daily presence on active piping fronts.
• Experience reading isometrics, P&IDs and welding maps.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-process and final inspections on piping fabrication and installation works.
• Witness hydrotests and NDE activities (RT/UT/PT/MT) per ITP.
• Verify pipe fit-up, alignment and welding against isometrics and WPS.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for piping works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with method statements and ASME B31.3.
• Assist in preparation of quality documentation for piping handover dossiers.
