Job summary

Acwa China is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization for a CCGT power plant in Rumah, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C teams, drive preventive maintenance, manage SAP/CMMS processes, and coordinate budgets, parts, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive maintenance experience in power plants, and a solid background in HSE compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or related engineering field.
• 15+ years of relevant maintenance experience in power generation or similar industrial plants.
• Experience in CCGT power plants and managing Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C maintenance functions is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance organizations, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) teams.
• Implement preventive maintenance plans and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability.
• Ensure effective utilization of SAP/CMMS for maintenance planning, work orders, maintenance history, scheduling, and monitoring of all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance activities across E/M/I&C sections, analyze recurring and chronic equipment issues, and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve plant reliability.
• Develop and monitor the maintenance and capital budgets, review purchase requisitions, and ensure availability of critical and strategic spare parts and consumables within approved budgetary requirements.
• Manage and monitor contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved maintenance procedures, IMS, HSE requirements, work scopes, and applicable standards.
• Ensure effective implementation of IMS, HSE, environmental, legal, PTW, waste management, PPE, hazard risk assessment, and environmental aspect-impact requirements within the maintenance function.
• Ensure effective maintenance reporting, emergency preparedness, training, competency development, equipment/instrument calibration, and continuous improvement while supporting achievement of plant and IMS objectives.
