Job summary

Acwa seeks a Plant Manager to provide leadership and drive safe, reliable, and efficient operations and maintenance at a CCGT power plant in Rumah, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee operations, maintenance, budget, and stakeholder relations to meet production targets.

The role requires extensive experience in power generation, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of plant performance, reliability, and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing a production plant.
• Experience in CCGT power plants and utility-scale power generation operations and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the plant strategy and operational plans aligned with O&M strategy.
• Monitor plant performance and report to senior management and the Board.
• Lead O&M functions, production planning, plant availability, and efficiency.
• Manage plant operating budget, cost control, and profitability.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
• Oversee supply chain, inventory, and contractor performance per HSSE requirements.
• Ensure SAP, IMS, HSE compliance across the plant.
• Build relationships with project company, Board, shareholders, OEMs, and authorities.
