Job summary

You will build a robust sales pipeline and maintain relationships with major customers, ensuring customer needs are met and trends are followed.

You will meet or exceed sales targets, provide technical assistance throughout the process, and hand over completed orders to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of sales experience in mining machinery or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the heavy machinery sector.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and lead generation.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay updated on heavy machinery products and industry trends.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
• Provide technical assistance and support during the sales process.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and agreements to customers.
• Close sales and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team for order fulfilment.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Provide feedback to the management team on market developments and potential growth areas.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and transactions in the CRM.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
