Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh requires a Senior Field Engineer - Civil to supervise and monitor civil construction on a major development project. You will work under the Resident Engineer and Construction Manager to ensure works meet drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8+ years of overall experience in civil construction and site supervision.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Field Engineer or Site Engineer role on large building projects.
• Experience in large-scale buildings, convention centers, hospitality developments, hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments, or commercial projects.
• Experience within Site Supervision Consultancy, Engineering Consultancy, or PMC environments is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify construction works are carried out per approved methodologies and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure progress according to approved schedules.
• Review construction drawings and technical documents and identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Inspect excavation, foundations, concrete works, structural elements, roads, utilities, drainage and external works.
• Witness field testing, laboratory testing, and inspection activities related to civil works.
• Assist in reviewing RFIs, technical queries, and field change requests.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and report unsafe practices.
