The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years in Oil & Gas, including 8+ years in rotating equipment, and experience with construction and commissioning phases. Onsite position with focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 12+ years experience in Oil & Gas sector.
• At least 8 years in mechanical rotating for major Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• Exposure to construction & commissioning phases preferred.
• MS Excel proficient; familiarity with SAP/other MS tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotating equipment engineering activities for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases.
• Develop data sheets, specs, and requisitions for rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines, etc).
• Review vendor offers and perform technical bid evaluations; participate in vendor meetings.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO and other standards; coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation and electrical teams.
• Review vendor drawings and documents; provide support during procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Support HAZOP/HAZID/SIL and design reviews; mentor junior engineers and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Assist client and internal audits and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Knowledge & Experience:-

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ Years experience within Oil & Gas Sector.
• At least 8 years within the field of Mechanical Rotating for major Oil & Gas /Petrochemical Projects.
• Previous exposure to projects at construction & commissioning phase.
• Computer Literate with MS Packages, particularly Excel proficient.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.

• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international standards.
• Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.
• Review vendor documents (GA drawings, datasheets, performance curves, etc.) and ensure timely approval.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality and accuracy.
• Support client and internal audits and ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.
