Job summary

Penspen? Penspen? (Pen​spen) in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior mechanical engineer to provide technical oversight of EPC contractor deliverables for static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and columns.

You will review calculations, vendor docs, and bid evaluations, monitor progress, assess deviations, and ensure safety, operability, and maintainability across projects. The role is based in Alkhafji with extensive oil & gas project experience required.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of experience in mechanical engineering for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Six (6) years of experience within the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of EPC contractor deliverables for static mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, columns).
• Review design calculations, datasheets, and specifications to ensure compliance with codes (ASME, API, TEMA, and project standards).
• Verify material selection, design thickness, and mechanical integrity.
• Review vendor documentation and participate in technical bid evaluations and FATs.
• Monitor EPC contractor progress, assess deviations, and propose corrective actions.
• Support field inspections and mechanical completion activities.

Required Experience Criteria in years

Minimum Education Qualification Required:
