Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Rotating to lead FEED and EPC activities for a major oil and gas project, based in Alkhafji.

You will supervise rotating equipment design, participate in HAZOP/HAZID, and ensure compliance with API/ASME/ISO standards, mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires 12+ years of experience and familiarity with brownfield FEED/EPC projects and Saudi Aramco standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience in FEED/EPC projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards is a plus.
• Experience with major brownfield FEED/EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotating equipment engineering for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases.
• Develop data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers, and packaged systems.
• Review vendor offers, perform technical bid evaluations, and participate in vendor meetings and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international standards.
• Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.
• Review vendor documents (GA drawings, datasheets, performance curves, etc.) and ensure timely approval.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality and accuracy.
• Support client and internal audits and ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards.

Penspen www.penspen.com is looking for an experienced, 12+ Years experience, Senior Mechanical Engineer-Rotating to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.
