Job summary

AimGulf is seeking a Senior Loss Prevention Engineer (offshore) to lead safety deliverables for major oil and gas projects. You will review FEED/EPC safety outputs, ensure hazard assessments are incorporated, and approve fire protection systems and water networks.

The role requires extensive experience in safety/loss prevention within oil and gas or petrochemical sectors, with PMC exposure preferred and proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in Safety / Loss prevention for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects or closely related.
• PMC experience for several years is preferable.

• Ensure Pre FEED/EPC Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED/EPC deliverables.
• Check, review and approve all technical safety deliverables by FEED/EPC contractor.
• Review and approve Fire Water network calculation and fire water demand.

• Review and approve fire water tanks, pumps, water mist systems.

Job Title: Senior Loss Prevention Engineer (offshore)

The Senior Loss Control Engineer will report to the FEED/Technical Leader, if serving in the Core Technical team, or to the Project Head/Senior Project Engineer if serving within the PMT Teams. The Senior Loss Control Engineer will liaise with other discipline personnel in the Technical Core Team or PMT teams as appropriate to his area of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Pre FEED/EPC Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED/EPC deliverables.
• Check, review and approve all technical safety deliverables by FEED/EPC contractor.
• Review and approve Fire Water network calculation and fire water demand
• Review and approve Fire & Gas detection systems
• Review and approve passive fire protection systems
• Review and approve fire water tanks, pumps, water mist systemscription:

Experience Required:

• At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Safety / Loss prevention for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects; or closely related project types.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline.

Skills Required:

• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
