Job summary

Penspen, an engineering and asset management consultancy, seeks a Communication Engineer (offshore) to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on reviewing FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system and ensuring interfaces with the Telecommunication System are in place.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering with eight years of experience (four in Oil & Gas), plus knowledge of FEED/Detail Engineering and Saudi Aramco desktop standards.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience; four years for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at a similar role is preferable.
• Exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Title: Communication Engineer (offshore)

• Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.

Experience Required:

• Eight (8) years of experience; Four (4) years for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering or closely related field.

Skills Required:

• FEED and Detail Engineering knowledge is compulsory.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
