Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a project in Khobar, Saudi Arabia within the oil & gas, petrochemical, fertilizer and refining sectors.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with 15 years' experience, including 10 years with FEED/EPC MNCs, and expertise in ETAP, PDP, FEED & DE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15 years' experience with 10 years in FEED/EPC MNCs for oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
• Experience in basic/detailed engineering, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support.
• Electrical design focused on PDP, FEED & DE.
• Pre-tender design experience plus scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and reporting.
• Proficient in ETAP modeling.
• Knowledge of international codes (IEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA, PIP).
• Ability to interpret project standards and support electrical issues on major projects.

Client is looking for Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, fertilizer and refining

Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification:

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering
• 15 years' experience and 10 years should be with a recognized international FEED/EPC MNCs, performing electrical engineering to build green and brown field facilities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or related chemical industry.
• Experience in the following:

- Complete project cycle (basic engineering and detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) of green/ brown field projects is ideal.

- Resolving operational / design issues

- Electrical design specifically related to PDP, FEED & DE.

- Pre-tender stage design

- Scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and status reporting

- ETAP modeling

• Shall be up to date with the latest technical developments in the respective fields of expertise.
• Supporting Procurement in meeting clients/vendors.
• Deep knowledge of relevant international codes i.e. IEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA, PIP, standards and Industrial practices and regulations
• Capability to interpret Project standards, specifications, analyze exceptions when put up by vendors and to provide technical and engineering support to electrical issues.
• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge is essential for handling of all the activities related to development / review of electrical engineering deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects.
