Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Role Overview: Senior Electrical Engineer leading power systems design and execution for large-scale infrastructure and building projects in Tabuk, supporting multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Code and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering scope for infrastructure, building, and development project packages.
• Review and coordinate power distribution, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, low‑current, and related electrical systems.
• Assess electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, material submittals, shop drawings, and contractor technical documents.
• Verify designs and construction activities against approved project requirements, international codes, Saudi regulations, and client standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior and mid‑level engineers to improve design quality, review accuracy, and engineering consistency.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, architectural, project management, construction, and quality teams to resolve system conflicts.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, utility authorities, consultants, and contractors to support technical alignment and required approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and technical audits to confirm that electrical installations follow approved drawings and quality requirements.
• Identify design gaps, installation issues, non‑compliances, and technical risks that could affect project delivery or system performance.
• Recommend practical engineering solutions for power distribution, load requirements, electrical safety, equipment layouts, and interface challenges.
• Support project reporting by preparing technical comments, review trackers, inspection notes, engineering reports, and progress inputs.
• Promote safe electrical practices, coordinated design delivery, and high‑quality construction supervision across assigned work areas.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Strong experience leading electrical scopes on large‑scale infrastructure, building, mega‑project, or complex development programs.
• Master’s degree, Professional Engineer status, Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent professional registration is highly desirable.
• Deep technical knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, grounding, lightning protection, low‑current systems, and electrical coordination.
• Strong ability to review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals.
• Proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design review workflows.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IEC, NEC, IEEE, Saudi Building Code, and relevant Saudi electrical regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor engineers and support multidisciplinary technical decision‑making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to present electrical engineering strategies and technical solutions to clients, senior managers, and project stakeholders.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving capability, coordination discipline, and adaptability for fast‑paced project environments in Tabuk.
