Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is sourcing a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a client in Saudi Arabia's oil & gas sector. The role covers greenfield and brownfield projects, from basic engineering through commissioning, requiring leadership across electrical deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 15 years of experience, including 10 years in FEED/EPC with international MNCs, and be proficient in relevant codes and standards, with ETAP modelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 15 years' experience, with at least 10 years in FEED/EPC projects with international MNCs in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage full electrical design deliverables for greenfield and brownfield oil & gas projects.
• Provide PDP, FEED & DE as part of project engineering.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and vendor interfaces.
• Perform ETAP modeling and electrical analyses as needed.
• Support construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

About the Role

Client is looking for Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, fertilizer and refining
• Complete project cycle (basic engineering and detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) of green/ brown field projects is ideal.
• Resolving operational / design issues.
• Electrical design specifically related to PDP, FEED & DE.
• Scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and status reporting.
• ETAP modeling.
• Capability to interpret Project standards, specifications, analyze exceptions when put up by vendors and to provide technical and engineering support to electrical issues.
• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge is essential for handling of all the activities related to development / review of electrical engineering deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering
• 15 years' experience and 10 years should be with a recognized international FEED/EPC MNCs, performing electrical engineering to build green and brown field facilities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or related chemical industry.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of relevant international codes i.e. IEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA, PIP, standards and Industrial practices and regulations.
• He shall be up to date with the latest technical developments in the respective fields of expertise.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the following:
• Complete project cycle (basic engineering and detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) of green/ brown field projects is ideal.
