Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Senior Process Engineer specialized in HYCO for its BHIG Middle East operations in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on day-to-day technical support, process reliability, and regional expert leadership across HYCO, SMR, ASU, and CO₂ production technologies.

The incumbent mentors site engineers, leads technical projects, and drives productivity, safety, and efficiency improvements while coordinating with global engineering resources and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
12+ years of experience in Engineering/Operations in a senior technical role.
Experience with HYCO/SMR and CO₂ production systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational and technical support for HYCO across the region.
Act as senior technical authority and mentor junior engineers.
Lead and support new installations and plant modifications.
Ensure compliance with PSM, LOPA, MOC, and OPHR standards.
Drive asset performance and cost reduction through APC and RTO initiatives.
Support turnarounds, catalyst inspections and post-turnaround validation.
