Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Senior Process Engineer – HYCO to provide senior technical leadership for ongoing HYCO operations across the region. You will mentor site engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective production of hydrogen, syngas and CO₂.

The role requires 12+ years in chemical engineering with HYCO/SMR expertise, strong data analytics, and proven leadership across multi-technology projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; 12+ years in a senior technical role.
• Proven experience with HYCO/SMR and CO₂ production.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority for HYCO processes across the Region.
• Lead regional teams in plant upgrades, troubleshooting and debottlenecking.
• Support commissioning, start-up and turnarounds.
• Drive process safety reviews (MOC, OPHR, PHA/HAZOP).
• Develop models in Aspen Plus for performance benchmarking.
